New Blog Schedule

After getting the first topic for the #2014bloggerchallenge, it made me motivated to start posting more.
I had a thought to start making my blog a bit more broad. I think that's why I don't so much because I'm on a bit of a makeup no buy. So what would I blog about then?
I came up with a new schedule that's a bit broader, but will still include makeup and beauty products. Here are the details:
-Motivational Monday: just to start the week off with happy thoughts
-Tag Tuesday: tags are fun, so why not?
-Wild Card Wednesday: whatever you request or comes to my mind
-Truthful Thursday: a day for reviews of anything.
-Favorites Friday: my favorite things of the week
I like the schedule because it will let me plan ahead. On that note, if you have any request please let me know for the wild card Wednesdays.
I hope you all like the new schedule since there hasn't been one since I've started.

Tiny Walgreen's haul

Lately, I've been experiencing a dry itchy scalp. Luckily, no flakes! So I went to Walgreen's to get some new hair products.

- Suave keratin infusion leave in conditioner.
- L'oreal ever crème intense moisture shampoo and conditioner
-Treseme platinum strength heat protectant
- Jordana lip liner in Silver Lilac
- Wet n wild lipstick in Black Orchid

I'm so excited to try out all these products. Have you tried any of these products? If so, how did they work for you?

Thanksgiving

Since yesterday was Thanksgiving, I figured I'd post the things I'm thankful for this year. Here's my list:

--My daughter: she has changed my life completely. I never knew I could fall in love with a person before I met them, but now she's almost a year old and I love her more and more each day (which I didn't think was possible).

--My family: they have always supported me through most of my decisions and choices throughout my life.

--My friends: these are the people who can always manage to put a smile on my face no matter what my mood is. They always have an open shoulder to cry on as well.

--My job: this one is fairly new. I've had this job for 2 weeks now. It's not the greatest job, but it has definitely helped me mental and has taken a lot of stress my shoulders because I now have an income.

--A roof over my head: its as simple as that because I know there are people who don't have that.

--Food in my fridge: same reason as above.

--Freedom: I'm so thankful to live in a country where I can go wherever I want, dress however I like, and say whatever I like.

That's really all the important things I am thankful for this year.

What about you? What are you thankful for this year?

Love always,
Michelle

Blog Sale!!!!!!!!!

Lets do a quick update: I got laid off from my job. It's bittersweet because now I can stay home with my little girl every day. It has been wonderful, but as she's growing so are her toys. That also mean space is shrinking. So I'm moving! Not far from where I'm at so it wont be too bad.

As I  began packing I realized that I own a lot of make-up. A lot of which I have never used or I've only swatched. That's what prompted the blog sale. Being a make-up junkie, I'm really hoping my items will go to homes where they are loved. If you are interested, the rules will be down below.

Here are the rules:

  • Paypal only.
  • First come, first served.
  • No holding.
  • All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
  • Everything will be cleaned and sanitized before shipping.
  • Payment due with 24 hours after I send you the invoice. If I do not receive the payment within that time, your order will be cancelled and items will be put back up for sale.
  • I ship everything First Class Mail, but I'm going to include a tracking number.
  •  I'll ship internationally, but keep in mind that shipping costs can get pricey.
  •  Buy at your own risk! I'm not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
  • Want to make a purchase? Just email me at littlemisselove@gmail.com a list of the items you want and an address you would like the packaged sent to.

Update on the Cover Girl Outlast Stay Brilliant nail polishes

First off, disregard the dirty looking nails. I just dyed my hair and got some under my nails.
Now to the update. As you can tell by the picture, there is some major chipping. It did last pretty long considering all I do with my hands. In the past week, I've done a lot of typing, peeling stickers, cutting a guys hair, putting together baby toys and a crib. That's just the beginning.
The nail polish stayed flawless until Tuesday. That's 4 whole days without a single chip. Keeping in mind I didn't add a top or bottom coat, I'm extremely impressed.
I will definitely be going out and buying more of these nail polishes!

***Update: the mint one was easy to remove, but stained my nails. I highly recommend a base coat with that one. The bronze one has very finely milled glitter in it so it was a bit harder to get off (in comparison to the mint one). For a glitter/shimmery polish, it was pretty easy to remove.***

First Impression: CoverGirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Polish

In my May Haul (which should be posted later today), I bought about 4 of the Cover Girl nail polishes. They were about $4.99 each st my local Walgreens. I was a bit hesitant to buy them because to me Cover Girl is known more for their mascaras and foundations than nail polishes.

Last night I was bored with looking at my dull naked nails, so I decided to paint them. I painted them in Mint Mojito and Bronze Beauty.
I am extremely impressed! They were completely opaque in 1 coat. I did 2 coats because I prefer 2 with all nail polish. I guess I'm just weird. The application was extremely smooth and not streaky at all. I didn't apply a base or top coat, just strictly the polish. I'm excited to see how long the polish alone will last.
Once I've given it a good run. I'll come back with a bigger review talking about how long it lasted.

First impression Grade: a big A+

Love always
